
In Sweden, you'll find a very wide variety of tourist
attractions and sight-seeing to do. In other words; if you are
to get bored by the activities provided by the camping site
(such as pools, canoeing, play ground, games, etc), you can

Gamla Stan
Gamla Stan - the old city - in
Stockholm is a must-see in the capital of Sweden. This part of
the city is crowded with cosy, old buildings that tell the
interesting history of Stockholm. You will find a lot of shops,
cafes, and so on.
Skansen
Skansen is the perfect place to
bring the entire family. It's an animal park and historical
landmark, where you can see, for example, monkeys, bears,
ferrets, horses, goats, and much more. A petting zoo for the
tiniest of family members, but also activities for mom and dad!
Gröna Lund
Gröna Lund is an amusement park in
Stockholm, famous for it's many rides and fun filled adventures.
Kungliga slottet
The Royal Castle in Stockholm is
one of the most popular tourist attractions in Sweden's capital.
A visit will give you loads of memories and impressions. The
young one's will love the royal guards!
Globen
Globen, "The Globe", is a round,
white building in the outskirts of Stockholm. It's known to all
Swedes as a good place for watching sports activities and do
some shopping.
Skara Sommarland
Skara Sommarland is Sweden's
largest water and amusement park, located in Skara. The park
opens may 31, and we really, really recommend this to those of
you that bring small children.
Kolmården
Kolmården is one of Swedens
leading animal parks. It consists mostly of marine world (a
Florida inspired water experience with dolphins, etc), the
thrilling Tiger World, the Safari Park (drive trough a safari
park with ostriches, giraffes, bears, wolves and other animals)
and a park for the youngest children.
Astrid Lindgrens värld
Astrid Lindgrens värld is a theme
park-inspired experience where you get to know Astrid Lindgren -
one of Sweden's most famous authors - and her stories!
High Chaparall
This is a Wild West-park with
daily shows, located in Småland near Hillerstorp.
Naturhistoriska museet
The museum of natural history -
one of many world class museums in Sweden.
Nationalmuseum
A museum for those of you who like
to learn more about Swedish history.
Moderna museet
Another museum, this one contains
modern art.
Liseberg
Liseberg is a Gothenberg-based
amusement park, similar to Gröna Lund, but according to some, a
bit better.
Medieval Visby
Visby in Gotland is a medieval
city. Here, you will find a number of things to do and see for
the whole family. A plus if you're interested in old
architecture and history!
Solliden
Solliden is the Royal summer
palace, located in Öland.
Uppsala Domkyrka
Uppsala Domkyrka is perhaps the
most famous church in Sweden. It's an architectural masterpiece!
Uppsala Slott
Uppsala Slott is a famous castle
in Uppsala.
Örebro slott
Örebro slott is another famous
castle, this one is located in Örebro, west of Stockholm.
Sofiero
Another famous castle (Sweden has
quite a few of those), this one is situated in Helsingborg. In
addition to the castle itself, it features a very nice garden!
Höga kusten
Höga kusten ("the high coast", in
Swedish) is a very beautiful coast line in the more northern
regions of Sweden. You really must bring your caravan here if
you're in "the neighbourhood".
